RYT-200, One-On-One Yoga
Emily studied contemporary dance at Indiana University, graduating with a BFA in Dance and a minor in Exercise Science in 2020. During her college career, she started practicing yoga which greatly improved her performance as a dancer. Emily went on to complete her 200 hour yoga teacher training in 2018, where she began teaching shortly after. She specializes in vinyasa flow: from power vinyasa to slow deep stretch classes, working with a variety of students from beginners to athletes. Emily also works one on one with students to create a more individualized approach, specific to your unique body and needs to help you reach your fullest potential. Her mission as a yoga teacher is to create a judgment-free space to allow her students to feel supported, connected, and more present on and off the mat. Emily is available for one on one private training sessions and teaches Yoga classes at Mend.
