Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200)
Jamie has been practicing yoga for more than 5 years and completed her 200hr yoga teacher training in 2021. After years of running for exercise, her knees protested, and her chiropractor suggested she try yoga. She fell in love with vinyasa flow classes and started a dedicated practice. She appreciates the balance of strength and stretch, effort and ease. As a new instructor, she wants students to feel comfortable in their own bodies and practice. Most of all, know that you belong and are welcome, no matter what level you may be. She’s learned through her own journey that your practice will ebb and flow, sometimes feeling easy and sometimes feeling like it’s your first day. That’s the joy of coming back – proving to yourself that although today may not be your time, tomorrow you may fly in that crow! Outside of yoga, Jamie works full-time for Milwaukee financial services firm Baird as a Talent Acquisition leader. She and her husband Sean live in Pewaukee with their cat Sophie. She is excited to continue learning and growing both as a student and instructor. She looks forward to seeing you on the mat.
Jamie's classes are quick-paced and thoughtful, she has an active class that is both achievable and challenging in the vinyasa style. She is known to end her classes with a peaceful Savasana and a complimentary hot towel for deep relaxation.
